The ECDV only works under Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10).

1024 x 768 display recommended.

4 GB free disk space (4.5 GB recommended for future versions and improvements) : 3 Mb for the program files and 4 Gb for the data. If need be, the program files and the  databases can be installed on different disks.

Your computer must be connected to the Internet to download and install updates, usually issued every month. If you install the ECDV on several computers, at least one of them must be connected to the Internet.

MAC USERS :

The ECDV cannot be used under Mac OS. However, you can first install a virtual Windows machine in your Apple computer, allowing you to use programs running under Windows.

Many programs are available in the Internet to install a virtual Windows machine, most of them being free: Oracle Virtual Box; Microsoft Virtual PC; WMWare Fusion; Parallel Desktops; Apple Boot Camp; etc.

Some of them require that you reboot your computer to toggle from an environment to the other.
